President Greene was interviewed on NPR’s Marketplace Morning Report about the current job market, including where Colby graduates are heading. During the conversation, he said “companies are recruiting at a level never seen before.” He also referenced the value of a liberal arts education, noting that “one out of five of Colby students hired into financial firms this year are humanities majors.”

The Boston Globe published a feature story on the College’s Island Campus that was on the front page of the weekend arts section. The article noted that “with the islands acquired by Colby, their potential for educating and enlightening the public is endless.” The story also referenced how the College’s “strengths in both environmental science and art” made it the “perfect fit for stewardship of the islands.”
